I have several smaller mats that I use for specific tasks, but this mat is by far my favorite and permanently resides on the bench top. It’s heavy duty and large enough (34 x 22.5”) to protect a significant area of the bench during my work. The dual metric/imperial markings are valuable since I switch units often from project to project. Out of all the markings on the mat I constantly use the grids, rulers, and geometric angles to help during design and evaluation.
