Panel Poster. Make your own epic Posters.

We wanted some ultra-giant posters around the lab (a periodic table, a blast radius chart, and a picture of lab minion #218289's evil eye...don't ask). The costs and limitations were too much, so we created the Panel Poster. An inexpensive technique to create huge, professional-looking posters of any image you want using simple raised paper panels.

Snacks and Price Changes

Aw, drat! The cost of cleaning lab coats went up, minions want tastier snacks, and (worst of all) that magic cheese sauce for nachos doubled. So, to keep up with price increases from our suppliers, we need to bump up our prices a bit. However, we will continue to offer inexpensive shipping, and will improve our volume discounts. Plus, we have more cool stuff coming soon (minions + tastier snacks = work harder).

We'll be deploying the price (and snack) changes this coming Tuesday, 8/23/11.

Goodbye tool drawer of doom. Hello Tool Dot.

We'd put tools into the tool drawer but they'd never come out. (Just like the Bermuda Triangle, except completely different.) Other tool storage systems didn't suit us, so we created the Tool Dot. A tiny, powerful, magnetic tool holder that you stick to walls and other vertical surfaces to store tools in any arrangement you want.

Now we need to work on a solution for the "Sock Drawer of Doom".

3-D Super Mario Papercraft Magnet Board

After playing with high voltage, caustic chemicals, and overcooked burritos we like to take a break and play with...paper. One of our favorite papercraft sites is Cubeecraft which has an awesome collection of papercraft fan art to play with. One day after browsing the site, it occurred to us that we could combine Cubeecraft artwork, some magnets, and a poster magnet board to make a large, 3-D, reconfigurable, Super Mario magnet board. So, we did it, and share how we did it so you can do it. Enjoy.
