This was half the reason why we invented the Wall Clip (the nunchuck was the other half). Before you can use the clip you need to fit it by squeezing the bumpers together a bit. After that you can just push the controller in and pull it out as needed. The wall clip holds it firmly in place. Notice how the bumpers contact the sides.
