If you don't want to (or cannot) stick Tool Dots on your wall, you can buy a wood panel (or similar), put the dots on the panel, and then mount the panel to your wall. I'd mount the panel into studs since the tools will be heavy. In this picture I'm installing a 24x24x3/4 inch piece of melamine acquired at my local building supply store.
