Q: Do the disc mounts grip tight enough to hold a CD upside down?

A: Oh yes! We designed the disc mount with this in mind so people can have fun displaying discs in creative places. If you are mounting directly to metal, or metal with a surface material of 3/32 inches thick or less, they will hold. The foam hubs grip the CD tightly.
