Q: My tool is slipping from the Tool Dot?

A: If this is a new install, then the tool is too heavy for a single Tool Dot. Add more Tool Dots to support the weight of the tool as show in the Using Guide.

If the Tool Dot previously supported the tool and now slips, then the Tool Dot needs to be cleaned. Dirt and grease buildup will reduce the holding power of the vinyl bumper. Use a 50/50 solution of Isopropyl alcohol and water to clean the bumper then dry it off as instructed in the Using Guide.
